Pottermore

Last Friday night I finally got the long,LONG awaited Pottermore email! Finally!! I hate to admit it but I am guilty of spending my weekend listening to the Harry Potter and Sorcerer’s Stone soundtrack while brewing potions in Pottermore. So frustrating but ADDICTING at the same time! I’m PotionSand36 and I got into Gryffindor but I will delete that account soon because I plan to make a new account. 

Anyway I got so caught up in it that I decided I wanted to paint an 11-year-old/ Gryffindor first year student version of myself but seeing as I’m planning on deleting my account soon, I decided I wanted to paint my sister instead. She’s a Ravenclaw. Here she is.

The crest is based on the official Ravenclaw crest only more simplified. I’m thinking of painting my youngest sister next. She’s in Hufflepuff but she’s also thinking of making a new account because she doesn’t like her pottermore username. Hopefully we’ll get sorted in the same houses. 

Anyway I got more homework to do >_<!! I might post commission information starting Saturday. See you then!!

If a lot of people request it, I will post commission information :) Note that it’s going to be a commission, so it’s not free :( but yes I will do (Pottermore) character drawings if demands increase.

Did this for class.. We didn’t really have to do a fully rendered piece but I felt like doing a digital painting so this happened. I want to know more about Digital Painting and Oil Painting. Just wish I had more time in my hands @_@.

Oh and even though I absolutely hate it, I will start signing all my illustrations from now on… 

A digital painting for photoshop class. This is still a work-in-progress. This isn’t the whole painting. I just cropped this part coz there’s still a lot of ares that need painting. I think I need to fix the position of her head or maybe the size of it. I dunno. We’ll see. 

Free Digital Portrait Anyone?

I wanna practice some digital painting in Photoshop coz I miss doing it. If you have a photo that has nice composition and good lighting (ones with lots of dark and light contrast on your face is a plus!), give me a link of it if you want a free digital portrait.

It has to include your whole face up to your torso or at least your chest. No funny faces!  No cropped faces! No sunglasses!! Has to be in  color and it has to be recent! No photos from last year or any year before 2010! Please don’t send me tiny photos =_=;

I’m only going to do one free portrait so whoever responds to this post first will get it. Only tumblr users! Once finished, the portrait will be posted here in tumblr.
